More than a dozen people have been arrested after violence erupted in Glasgow between anti-immigration and anti-racism protesters. Police are responding to disorder at a planned protest on Glasgow Green and in the Oswald Street area of Glasgow City Centre. Protesters and counter-protesters clashed in Glasgow Green on Saturday afternoon as police on horses attempted to separate them. “Officers have recovered weapons that clearly indicate there has been an intention for pre-meditated disorder, violence, and intimidation.
