Frank Baum’s beloved tale, The Wizard of Oz, at Nelson's Capitol Theatre, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The show opened Friday night and continues tonight (7 p.m.) and on Sunday (2 p.m.) as part of the 38th annual summer youth program at The Capitol. After a powerful tornado sweeps her away, Dorothy and her dog Toto are transported to the magical land of Oz. To find her way home, Dorothy is advised by the Glinda to travel along the yellow brick road to seek help from the mysterious Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City.
