Relationships between humans and AI companions are becoming more common and two Waterloo, Ont., researchers wanted to find out more about what it's like having an AI partner. Denise Marigold and Christine Logel teach social development studies at the University of Waterloo. Denise signed up for an AI boyfriend and together, they studied the so-called relationship. They spoke about the experience with Craig Norris, host of CBC K-W's The Morning Edition.
