The Houthis have claimed attacks on two Aramco oil facilities in Saudi Arabia's Jizan and Yanbu in retaliation for air strikes on Hodeidah port and Kamaran Island. The group vowed to maintain their blockade on Saudi-linked shipping through the Bab el-Mandeb strait in response to the kingdom's blockade on Yemen and an attack on the international airport in Sanaa. The waterway has become a vital passage for Riyadh's oil exports after US-Iran tensions have severely curtailed shipping out of the Persian Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz. Yemen TV subsequently reported that air strikes hit Houthi reinforcements in the country's central Marib and northern al-Jawf provinces. There was no immediate response from the group regarding the attack.
