Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has sold 3.5 million copies worldwide to exceed the annual expectations of publisher Ubisoft within two weeks. The company shared the milestone during its Q1 fiscal report, where it noted that net bookings fell by 9 percent year-on-year to €256 million ($291 million) during the first quarter. Despite that downturn, Ubisoft said net bookings were slightly above guidance thanks to the "record performance" of mobile RPG, Invincible: Guarding the Globe, which launched back in 2024. Ubisoft said that decrease mainly reflected the loss of bookings from Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the prior-year quarter, following its release on March 20, 2025. "We delivered first-quarter net bookings slightly above guidance.
