Those arrangements were intended to give the platform access to the lowest room prices available across online booking services.
Trip.com was also ordered to refund 122 million yuan in booking deposits that authorities said had been withheld from hotel operators.
Trip.com is China's largest online travel platform and operates several major booking brands, including Ctrip, Skyscanner and Qunar.
The case could encourage competing travel platforms to reassess their agreements with hotels and create greater pricing freedom for accommodation providers operating across multiple booking services.
