ELKINS -- A Randolph County man faces a felony charge after allegedly retaliating against police while being detained for a stabbing.
While Sayer detained Moyers, Moyers allegedly became “aggressive” towards the officers and was given clear commands to stop.
Sayer struck Moyers multiple times as Moyers allegedly continued to resist officers, the complaint states.
Once “compliance was gained,” Sayer and Marsh escorted Moyers to the patrol vehicle where Moyers reportedly continued to resist.
While being transported to Elkins City Hall for processing, Moyers allegedly proceeded to scream profanities at Sayer, the complaint states.
