LARAMIE -- University of Wyoming Athletics is mourning the loss of Dr. Kurt Johnson, who served as Medical Director for UW Athletics since 2023. Dr. Johnson was a beloved member of the UW Athletics team, providing expert, compassionate care for student-athletes, coaches and others. A graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he joined UW as Medical Director in July 2023. Wyoming Athletics is working closely with our student-athletes and others affected by this news and will continue to provide them with support.
