Din Tai Fung’s newest location at the Brea Mall is slated to open Aug. 7, marking the company’s fourth restaurant in Orange County as it continues to expand in the region. The 14,000-square-foot restaurant is part of a $300 million mixed-use redevelopment of the Brea Mall, owned by Simon Properties. Along with Din Tai Fung, the mall has added a 123,000-square-foot Life Time athletic country club, North Italia restaurant and Rivian Automotive showroom to its redesigned outdoor space. “Brea’s strong sense of community and reputation as a leading retail and dining hub made it an ideal home for our next location,” Albert Yang, CEO of Din Tai Fung North America, said in a statement.
