The city of Guymon is experiencing a water emergency and has implemented Stage 3 water conservation measures. The city says the daily water production report for July 21 shows the city’s demand has reached 95.4% of Guymon’s available production capacity. This, paired with previous water system demand, has met the criteria from the 2024 Water Conservation Plan to implement emergency measures. Filling water tanks, trailers or totes for transport outside of Guymon city limits is prohibited. “The City appreciates the cooperation of our residents, businesses, and community partners as we work together to protect Guymon’s water supply.
