Carnival Cruise Line is monitoring a developing storm that is set to impact the Gulf Coast, according to an update shared by Brand Ambassador John Heald.
Offering a four-night cruise to the Western Caribbean, the 3,650-passenger vessel is scheduled to visit the Mexican port of Cozumel before returning to Texas.
He added that Carnival’s Fleet Operations Center is actively following Bertha, as the storm is expected to impact the Gulf Coast later this week.
In addition to the Carnival Breeze, the Carnival Dream and the Carnival Jubilee are scheduled to visit Galveston for turnaround calls over the next few days.
Carnival is also currently operating out of New Orleans and Tampa, with the Carnival Valor, the Carnival Liberty and the Carnival Paradise sailing from the ports.
