Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has reactivated his cover band The Coverups for a couple of California shows this week. Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, who is a presenter at the Eisner Awards tonight (7/23), joined them on one song, a rendition of David Bowie‘s “All The Young Dudes” (which Dickinson previously covered on his 1990 solo debut Tattooed Millionaire), and you can watch that below. During their Monday set, The Coverups dedicated their rendition of “Drain You” to L7’s Jennifer Finch, who passed away at age 59 following her diagnosis with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
