England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt will miss Trent Rockets' first two matches of The Hundred to manage her workload. It also meant she had to play as a specialist batter during the tournament, where England were beaten by Australia in the final at Lord's. Trent Rockets open their Hundred campaign on Friday against Birmingham Phoenix at 15:00 BST and then take on London Spirit on Sunday. Sciver-Brunt previously captained the Rockets but stepped down from the role in 2025 shortly after she took on the England leadership. Her wife, former England bowler Katherine, was recently appointed as Rockets' assistant coach.
