According to Salmon Arm RCMP, on July 2 at about 6:20 p.m., police received a report of a man who had crossed a parked train near 9 Avenue NE. “The man was arrested for obstruction, and on a search of him police located 475 grams of various types of illicit drugs.” Hodges said the man was arrested for drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and charges are being forwarded to BC Prosecution Service. The 40-year-old man was found to have multiple arrest warrants and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
