There’s currently a “For Lease” sign at 317 S Second Avenue in Deep Ellum, a broken homepage, and radio silence on social media. I can’t claim to have been a Goodsurf regular, but I really enjoyed the few times I visited. The spot shared a former exec with TopGolf (Goodsurf’s co-founder, Zach Shor) and even a debt partner in EPR Properties, which had committed “$100 million for future projects on a deal by deal basis”. Per LinkedIn, Shor founded a real estate and hospitality consulting group in October 2025, just before Goodsurf went dark for good.
