Twenty-two-time All-Star and four-time NBA champion LeBron James has agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, Klutch Sports' Rich Paul told ESPN's Shams Charania on Friday.
According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, "a source familiar with LeBron James' thinking told ESPN that LeBron's choice hinged on the pursuit of a championship.
ESPN's Shams Charania also reported there is a "real chance" James plays both years of his contract in Philadelphia.
So much of the 76ers' championship hopes rest on the health of Joel Embiid.
With James and Brown now lining up alongside Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe, Philadelphia's floor should at least be a lot higher.
