If you're looking for an epic vacation, but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, there's a popular spot in Missouri that was just recognized as having Airbnb's that are cheaper to stay at than hotels. They said "In Branson, Missouri, people often choose Airbnb as an alternative because its houses are located within the city, not in a remote resort." They also mention that being able to bring your own food back to an Airbnb is preferable over a hotel that may not allow that. We didn't have any real big problems from what I can recall, but the hotel beds in the cheaper places we stayed at were...well, let's just call them sketchy and I'll leave it at that. I'm really not surprised that many online are choosing the numerous Branson, Missouri Airbnb options.
