FOSTER families across Worcestershire shared a memorable day out at West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley on Monday, writes Jacob Scandrett. The day, organised by Worcestershire County Council’s fostering service, was open to all supported children and carers in the county. The main focus for the day was to provide an opportunity for children, young people and carers to relax, connect and create happy memories together. Councillor Natalie McVey, Cabinet Member for Children and Families at Worcestershire County Council, said:”It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying a day out together and making special memories. This latest event forms part of Worcestershire County Council’s commitment to support looked after children and foster families in the area.
