On Friday, James's former Lakers teammate, Dwight Howard, shared a social media post with the message "Ring Season," seemingly pitching the 76ers on adding him next. Next to that is a real photo of Howard celebrating with James when they won the 2020 NBA championship with the Lakers. and "Bruh if Dwight Howard get a 1yr deal this is definitely a championship team." Howard played in the league from 2004 to 2022 and had several stints playing for the Lakers, including the 2019-20 season when they won the championship. Howard retired from basketball in March after receiving his induction into the Naismith Memorial Pro Basketball Hall of Fame.
