New Castle, PA - Gina M. Swartz, 47, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1978, in New Castle, she was the beloved daughter of John and Deborah (Kowal) Carbone Jr.On July 18, 2003, Gina married the love of her life, Josh Swartz. Together they shared 23 wonderful years of marriage, building a home filled with love, laughter and unwavering devotion to their family. A graduate of Union High School, Gina found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. A woman of faith, Gina maintained a strong relationship with God and was a former member of St. Vitus Parish.
