After spending years focused almost entirely on streaming, Star Trek finally looks ready to make the jump back to theaters in a big way. He also teased that the story will explore a different corner of the Star Trek timeline. It’s fun, but Star Trek has always been at its best when it's exploring the unknown instead of looking backward. There's something special about seeing Star Trek on the big screen. Whatever shape this new Star Trek movie ultimately takes, it'll be great to finally see the franchise return to theaters.
