By Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation,There was once a time when Florida’s election agency was the national example of failure. Florida has been able to count and tally most of the votes by election night. Compare that to California or Oregon which can take weeks in some races. In one Florida county, the Election Supervisor invited the public to come for a live demonstration on how the voting machines work and to watch the staff validates ballots. These are lessons Oregon should learn from.
