Former professional football star Tony Romo was arrested Thursday night in Milwaukee under suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Romo, who is best known as the former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, was reportedly stopped on a highway and performed poorly on field sobriety tests, according to Fox News. The former football star, who now works for CBS on its NFL broadcast team, was back in Wisconsin for the Wisconsin State Amateur golf tournament. Romo was named all-state in three sports in high school for football, basketball and golf, according to the New York Post. “I’m competitive in both [golf and football], I’m just better at football,” he told TMJ4 News on Thursday.
