Leading voluntary sector body outlines priorities for next Scottish GovernmentScotland’s next government must play its part in maintaining a strong, sustainable voluntary sector, a leading third sector body has said. The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) has published Scotland’s Essential Sector, its manifesto for next May’s Scottish Parliament elections. The manifesto has been shaped by the sector itself - with organisations asked what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change. The six priorities outlined in the manifesto are:• Delivering fair funding – reforming public sector funding to be multi-year, flexible, sustainable, and accessible.
