Middlebury, IN - It is with great sadness but a bounty of fond memories that we announce the passing of Michael Scott Miller of Middlebury on Tuesday, July 21st at Goshen Hospital surrounded by family. Mike was born to K. Marion and Betty (Slabach) Miller on October 8, 1961. His customers at Miller Insurance Agency would often come in inquiring about both insurance needs and questions about how to prune a tree or which bird he thought they had spotted. He was a certified arborist and volunteered many hours with the Middlebury Tree Board earning the town consistent recognition as a 'Tree City USA'. Mike is survived by his wife, Robin Tahara Miller; son, Grant (Jennifer) Miller; brothers, Kent (Susan) Miller, Randy (Alison) Miller; and sister, Cindy (Mike) Ahonen; brothers and sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
