Deputies received a report about the campfire, went to the camp and found the campers cooking over the open flame. From July 9-11, deputies received reports of at least a dozen suspected open fires in established campsites and dispersed areas. In unincorporated Dillon on July 11, a resident reported their neighbor was having a campfire in his backyard. Deputies responded and gave the three off-roaders a ride home. Deputies responded to find a family party with no alcohol or intoxicated individuals.
