Special to IFNOn Saturday, September 27, Students for a Cure LKN hosted a pickleball tournament at Trump National Golf Course, raising $1,915 to support Susan G. Komen’s upcoming More Than Pink Walk. The student-led group, based at Lake Norman High School, is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support programs. To date, Students for a Cure LKN has raised $9,132.75 of their $10,000 fundraising goal. The team will join hundreds of participants at the More Than Pink Walk on October 11 to continue their mission of supporting those affected by breast cancer.
