The deceased, Sajad Ahmad of Chek-e-Prang, Kangan in Ganderbal died after his Pulsar motorcycle (JK05D-5139) met with an accident at Shagam Kapoo in Panikhar area, officials said. The body was subsequently shifted to District Hospital Kargil for medico-legal formalities before being handed over to the bereaved family. As the ambulance carrying Sajad Ahmad's body reached his home in Kangan, heart-rending scenes unfolded. The loss has been particularly devastating for his wife and three daughters, who have been left without their father. Residents described Sajad as a humble and hardworking man, saying his untimely death has left the entire locality in mourning.
