Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been a major success for Ubisoft, so much so that even the publisher is surprised. In its latest financial report, it revealed that the remake had sold 3.5 million copies to date, “exceeding annual expectations within its first 14 days.” Its last milestone was over three million sold within the first week, with reports claiming that it had outpaced Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Steam. “The strong launch of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced in early July by Vantage Studios is an encouraging proof point,” said CEO Yves Guillemot.
