India’s medal hopes in judo have suffered a major setback ahead of the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. Commonwealth Games silver medallist Tulika Maan has been withdrawn from the Indian team after receiving a provisional suspension from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). Tulika was one of India’s strongest medal hopes after winning a silver medal at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Tulika is the second Indian judoka to be ruled out of the Commonwealth Games 2026. India had originally selected 14 judokas, including seven men and seven women, for the Commonwealth Games 2026.
