This 1960 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe underwent a color change to red with a black soft top over black leather as part of a refurbishment completed prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 2020. Subsequent work has involved resealing the 3.8-liter inline-six, adding a PerTronix electronic ignition, fitting a Bell stainless-steel exhaust system, installing Wilwood front disc brakes, and more as detailed below. The car wears Lucas driving lights as well as 16″ knock-off wire wheels and is equipped with dual SU carburetors along with a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission. A copy of a Production Record Trace Certificate from the Jaguar Heritage Trust lists a production date of February 9, 1960, along with serial numbers and colors.
