Varghese, former principal of MGM College, Dimapur, were released at the University of Rhode Island (URI), USA, during the 27th International Nonviolence Summer Institute on July 23. According to a statement, Peace and Reconciliation in Community Life explores peacebuilding, reconciliation and community transformation through the philosophy of nonviolence, while Proud to Be a Teacher contains 60 reflections on education, values, ethics, spirituality, peace, holistic education and the teaching profession. The release marks another milestone in Varghese's literary and academic journey and reflects his continued commitment to promoting peace, holistic education and community transformation through scholarship and the principles of nonviolence, the statement added.
