Indiana State PoliceINDIANAPOLIS -- A marker commemorating a notable moment in Indiana's LGBTQ+ history has been vandalized. Indiana State Police report that a sign honoring Indiana's first large-scale outdoor Pride event was intentionally damaged. The sign stood on Indianapolis's Monument Circle. ISP officials allege footage it obtained shows four males walking past the sign; two of them are allegedly then seen stopping to read and then damage the sign. Officials say the sign eventually broke off its stand, and all four individuals ran away.
