Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited the Ararat cement plant on July 23, reviewing production, available capacity and ongoing work. The facility employs about 1,000 people and has an installed annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons. According to the minister, an interim manager for the company will be appointed in July in accordance with the established procedure. The plant must not suspend operations; on the contrary, normal production must be maintained and work efficiency improved,” the minister said.
