Alik Aleksanyan, a member of the Strong Armenia alliance, has been held in custody for almost two months. During that period, investigators have not conducted any investigative action with his participation, his lawyer Liana Gasparyan said, according to Sputnik Armenia. Gasparyan said Aleksanyan has not been banned from receiving visitors. It remains unclear whether the investigative body will ask for his custody to be extended. The Prosecutor General’s Office had previously launched a public criminal prosecution against Narek Karapetyan in connection with Aleksanyan’s case.
