The risk of Ebola being imported into Armenia and subsequently spreading in the country is assessed as low. The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Armenia’s Health Ministry continues to monitor the epidemiological situation involving Ebola worldwide. As of July 21, 2026, the Democratic Republic of the Congo had recorded 2,536 confirmed cases and 1,033 deaths. No new confirmed Ebola cases have been reported in Uganda. Armenian health authorities continue to follow the international epidemiological situation and implement measures stemming from the World Health Organization’s temporary recommendations.
