The leadership of Armenia’s Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body has reviewed its work during the first half of 2026, assessed its effectiveness and discussed progress in preparations for COP17. Head of the inspection body Hovhannes Martirosyan held a working meeting with the senior management to examine the results of activities carried out during the reporting period. The meeting also covered suspensions of activities, administrative proceedings that had been initiated, preventive measures and their key indicators. Martirosyan analyzed the main performance indicators of the inspectorate’s divisions in detail and assessed the effectiveness of their work. Instructions were issued to ensure that all functions and activities assigned to the inspection body are carried out properly, in a coordinated manner and to a high standard.
