Provincial police in Haldimand County are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Haldimand Road 53 on Thursday night. Investigators determined a car had left the road and rolled over causing life-threatening injuries to one person in the vehicle. A section of Haldimand Road 53 between Concession 2 and Concession 3 north of Selkirk was closed for several hours following the collision. Anyone who may have been travelling on Haldimand Road 53 between Concession 2 and Concession 3 and witnessed the collision or has dash camera or video surveillance footage is asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
