DILWORTH, Minn. – An operating levy of $500 per student will be on the November ballot in the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District. A similar levy vote failed by 33 votes last year leading to more than $1,000,000 in budget cuts for this school year. “As a district, we deeply appreciate our entire community and recognize the significant support and investment you continually make into our schools,” DGF Superintendent Shannon Hunstad said. To maintain the strong educational standards our families deserve, we truly need our community’s investment during this challenging time.” The district said funding has decreased by about 19% since 2005 when adjusted for inflation.
