Natural gas-fired power burn hit its highest level in 11 months last week and forward traders responded by sending the curve higher now that summer heat has finally kicked into full gear.
Winter 2026/27 was up by 10.4 cents to $4.388, while summer 2027 prices were up by 6.1 cents to $2.735.
