Community organizations have until the end of July to apply for grants scheduled to be awarded this fall by the Sarnia Community Foundation. The deadline is July 31 at 4 p.m. for applications to the foundation’s upcoming round of community impact grants. Grant recipients must provide services benefiting Lambton County residents and receive volunteer support, the foundation said. The foundation added a spring round of grants this year along with its fall round of allocations, Barron said. It awarded six grants in May with a total value of about $30,000, including support for local efforts to address food security, he said.
