by David Virtue, VOLEpiscopalians across the country have been invited to commemorate 50 years of pansexual inclusion in The Episcopal Church. Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe will join a panel discussion and preside at the closing Eucharist at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Minneapolis. The event has been planned by the church’s Task Force on LGBTQ+ Inclusion, chaired by the Rev. It was at the 65th General Convention in Minneapolis, in September 1976, that The Episcopal Church adopted Resolution A069, demanding full and equal access to the church’s promise. By any definition the campaign has been wildly successful, but the price has been high, very high.
