A judge on Friday sentenced Sean “Diddy” Combs to 50 months in federal prison, or 4 years and 2 months, for his conviction on two prostitution-related counts. As he handed down the sentence, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian praised the wealthy music mogul for his many accomplishments, according to ABC News. The rapper and producer learned his sentence after a full day of statements in Manhattan federal court. The defense team played an 11-minute video in court that portrayed Combs as a loving father and philanthropist determined to uplift the Black community. The prosecution said he was “unrepentant” and asked the judge to sentence him to 135 months — or 11 years and 3 months.
