Adam Driver and Anne Hathaway will lead Ron Howard's adaptation of Alone at Dawn, based on the real-life story of war hero John Chapman.
Ron Howard has turned his eyes to another real-life story, Alone at Dawn, set to star Adam Driver and Anne Hathaway in the lead (via Deadline).
Based on the book of the same name, by Dan Schilling and Lori Chapman Longfritz, the movie will star Driver in the shoes of John Chapman, while Hathaway will play the intelligence officer, who earned Chapman the Medal of Honor, years after his death.
Alone at Dawn is Inspired by the Real-Life Story of John ChapmanJon Chapman, a combat controller, was part of 2002’s Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan.
It’s safe to say his own experiences will help him portray war hero Jon Chapman, especially with Howard at the helm.
