(Robert Brewer photo)The St. Joseph Lady Flyers (34-11, 6-0) notched their fifth straight victory Thursday night in Brownsville. They beat St. Joseph Academy in straight sets, 25-19, 25-14, 25-12. Senior outside hitter and tri-captain Jordyn Johnston collected a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs for the Lady Flyers. The Lady Flyers finished the first round of district play with an unblemished mark of 6-0 within TAPPS District 4-5A. St. Joseph will host St. Anthony Tuesday evening at 5 p.m.
