Albany County Emergency Management Coordinator Kate Allred on Thursday evening announced that all evacuations in conjunction with the Fish Creek Fire have been lifted. Allred sent Townsquare Media the following statement:"All evacuations for the Fish Creek Fire have now been lifted. All agencies worked seamlessly together, and we are very thankful for the current condition of the fire, as well as a smooth evacuation operation. Sheriff's Office Says Fire Is Mostly ContainedThe Albany County Sheriff's Office, in a Facebook post shortly after, said the fire is now 90 percent contained. The fire prompted an evacuation of a two-mile radius around Fish Creek Ranch and the Cherokee Park area.
