A Central Florida Congressman is being targeted for the “Soto Shutdown” of the federal government. On day one of what they are calling the Democrats’ government shutdown, the National Republican Congressional Committee launched a paid advertising campaign targeting Democratic Rep. Darren Soto for shutting down the government and putting politics over people. “Out of touch Democrat Darren Soto is grinding America to a halt,” said NRCC spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole. Voters won’t forgive this betrayal.”Representative Darren Soto is a vulnerable Democrat who is being targeted by Republicans as a possible seat to pick up in Congress. “I am working to keep critical services up and running for families in our community while lowering healthcare costs,” Rep.
