Andover - Scott Apitz, 62, of Andover died Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Prescott House Nursing Home. Scott was born in Methuen, MA on July 17, 1964, to the late Paul and Marie (Dill) Apitz. Scott was a graduate of St. Augustine's Grammar School and the Lawrence Vocational High School and was employed as a quality Assurance Technician at Elevation Foods. Scott is survived by his son, Vincent Cahalane of Lawrence, his brothers, Paul Apitz of Dracut and Dana and his wife, Tammy of North Andover and his sister Phyllis Winters of Andover. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday July 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Essex St. Andover.
