By fostering resilience and addressing inequality, community cohesion can help build more inclusive and secure environments for everyone. Across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, we’re fortunate to have a rich network of community groups and charities who are already doing this vital work. From grassroots organisations helping victims of crime, to local campaigns promoting safety and inclusion, these groups are the backbone of our neighbourhoods. Currently, I invest £1.5m in charities and community organisations across the two counties.
