Ethio Telecom generated Birr 215.8 billion in total revenue during the recently concluded Ethiopian fiscal year, achieving 99.7 percent of its annual target, the company announced. Ethio Telecom also deployed 264 additional 4G sites, bringing the total number of 4G sites to 1,200. As part of its distribution network expansion, Ethio Telecom added 1.4 million copper and fiber connections. Ethio Telecom expanded its enterprise digital infrastructure to serve 880 enterprise customers. Transactions conducted through Zemen Gebeya, Ethio Telecom’s digital marketplace, reached Birr 340.3 million during the year.
